Afternoon Art Classes in 2025 (CCSA)

 

Print making

This class introduces students to the vibrant art of printmaking, where they can explore creativity using natural materials and various techniques. From simple to advanced printing, this program nurtures artistic expression, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for patterns and textures. Students will experiment with colors, shapes, and layers to produce unique prints and designs, turning their imagination into tangible works of art.

By the end of this class, students will learn:

  • Create original prints using natural materials and tools.

  • Understand fundamental printmaking techniques such as stamping and layering.

  • Enhance fine motor skills and artistic confidence.

  • Explore the use of patterns and textures in creative compositions.

    Grades: JK&SK

     Days: Mondays

    Time: 3:35-4:35 PM

    Start date: March 31

    End date: June 2 (Excluding April 21 & May 19)

    Number of weeks/sessions: 8

    Fee per student: $200+HST=$226

 
 

Masterpiece Makers

This engaging class combines drawing and painting activities to nurture students' creativity and refine their artistic techniques. Participants will explore essential principles of both mediums, including art history, color theory, composition, and fundamental elements such as shapes, lines, angles, and forms. Through hands-on practice, students will receive individualized guidance from the instructor to support their artistic growth. Open to all skill levels, this class provides personalized instruction to help each student develop their unique artistic voice.

By the end of this class, students will learn:

  • Fundamental drawing and painting techniques

  • Skills in rendering shapes, lines, angles, and forms with precision

  • An understanding of perspective, shading, and proportion

  • Knowledge of composition principles for creating balanced artwork
