Art Classes for Children
CCSA is proud to be one of the first art schools in Canada to offer top-notch online art classes for children. As an art school whose number one mission is developing art education for children, we hope to reach students not only in Toronto but across Canada through our online platform. Our teachers are highly motivated professionals in their field, and they are excited to provide these classes under our supervision. The focus of our art classes is on creativity and uniqueness in developing artworks. Students develop their artistic skills with the purpose of not only enjoying their time but also excelling in creativity, problem solving, and teamwork in their futures.
In addition to their weekly online classes, students can participate in art activities, enter electronic art contests, and showcase their artworks in our online gallery, all for free. So, join us and enjoy art while you stay home!
Painting
Ages 4-12
Painting is our most popular visual art class. We take a special approach to teaching, showing our students how painting provides an ideal opportunity for self-expression.
Drawing
Ages 4-12
Our drawing classes are characterized by excellence and individual expression. The classes are led by professional artists who are enthusiastic about working with students from preschoolers to seniors.
Stop Motion Animation
Ages 7-10
In this animation class have an opportunity to make an animation, which is usually a 5 minutes long film, as an individual activity. Our instructor will lead students to first write a short storyboard for the film, decide on the type of material used for the animation - collage, plasticine, etc., and then use stop motion techniques to make the film. This class will also teach students how to make a soundtrack for their animation that includes music and the recording of dialogue.

Digital Animation
Ages 11-17
Digital art class is a great opportunity for the kids to use their imagination and generate ideas by transforming their drawing and paintings to 2D or 3D digital artworks. No previous knowledge is required, and they get familiar with digital drawing, digital painting, digital photo development, digital design, digital art software, digital composition and styles. The instructors of the class have solid academic and professional background in digital art, and the pace of the class is based on the students’ abilities and motivation. The students develop digital art projects in this class and receive regular feedback from the instructors.
